before you switch DNS

Enter a domain and the IP of the server it will live on. We load it as if DNS already pointed there — no hosts-file edits.

How it works

  1. We open a connection straight to the IP you gave, sending your domain as the Host header (and TLS SNI).
  2. The page is served back on a throwaway *.snappydns.co.uk subdomain.
  3. Links, assets, redirects and in-page fetch/XHR calls to your domain are rewritten so you stay inside the preview.
Previews expire automatically. Private / internal IP ranges are blocked.
